Mustard Kincha Moriki Kozo
CA$175.00
Gifted by my late mother-in-law, this paper is likely a Kincha Moriki Kozo handmade paper. The paper is composed of 80% chinese kozo and 20% sulphite. It is cooked with caustic soda and dyed with direct synthetic dyes.
Series Statement
Since beginning paper art in 2015, I’ve amassed a wide-ranging assortment of specialty papers. Rather than sitting in storage, I’m showcasing these papers via an on-going series entitled “The Material Library Series”. Every specialty paper in my evolving paper library is used to create a collage with the same underlying layout based on my signature slope fields aesthetic - an expressive mathematical visualization of differential equations.
